RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – Three Palestinians were killed and two others were injured in Israeli military raids on Sunday in the West Bank cities of Tulkarm and Nablus, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry and local news agency Wafa.

A ministry statement identified two of the victims as Nabil Atta, 19, and Mohmmad Fayez, 36, who lost their lives to Israeli bullets in the Tulkarm refugee camp.

State-run Palestine Television said Israeli forces encircled a house inside the camp and prevented ambulances from reaching the area.

On Sunday evening, another Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli army gunfire in the northern West Bank, bringing the toll for the day to three and the total number of Palestinians killed in the region since Oct. 7 to 399.

Wafa reported that the young man was killed near the Beit Furik checkpoint east of the city of Nablus.

The agency quoted Palestinian security sources as saying that Israeli occupation forces fired at Anas Jameel Dwaikat, without mentioning his age.

He was seriously wounded and later succumbed to his injuries, according to the agency.

Nearly 4,500 Palestinians have been injured by Israeli army fire in the occupied territory, according to figures released by the Health Ministry.

Israel has been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice over its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed nearly 29,000 and caused mass destruction and a shortage of necessities.

An interim ruling by the Hague-based court in January ordered Tel Aviv to stop genocidal acts and take measures to guarantee that humanitarian assistance is provided to civilians in Gaza.
