Attack targets highway between towns of KafrDajjal, Nabatieh, according to local media

BEIRUT (AA) - One person was killed and three others were injured in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon on Thursday, according to local media.

The attack targeted a highway between the towns of KafrDajjal and Nabatieh, the state-run National News Agency reported.

There was no Israeli comment on the strike.

Tensions have risen along Lebanon’s border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv presses ahead with a deadly onslaught against the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 35,700 people since October following an attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.
