1 killed, 5 injured when Israeli fighter jets strike house in central Gaza
Attack targets house in Nuseirat refugee camp, says Palestinian Red Crescent Society

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – One Palestinian was killed and five others were injured in an Israeli airstrike in the central Gaza Strip on Wednesday, the Red Crescent Society said.
The organization said its ambulance teams evacuated the victims following the attack, which targeted a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The strike caused massive destruction in the area, according to eyewitnesses.
Israel has waged a relentless offensive on the Palestinian enclave since an Oct. 7 cross-border attack by Hamas which killed some 1,200 people.
More than 34,500 Palestinians have since been killed and over 76,000 others injured amid mass destruction and shortages of necessities.
More than six months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins, pushing 85% of the enclave’s population into internal displacement amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine, according to the UN.
Israel also stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which in January issued an interim ruling that ordered Tel Aviv to stop genocidal acts and take measures to guarantee that humanitarian assistance is provided to civilians in Gaza.
