14 hurt by ‘projectiles’ fired from Yemen: Saudi Arabia
Riyadh leads Sunni-Arab air coalition against Yemen’s Shia Houthi group and their allies

RIYADH (AA) - At least 13 Saudi citizens and one foreign national were injured in the kingdom’s southwest by "projectiles" fired from Yemen, Saudi authorities said Thursday.
The projectiles landed in Saudi Arabia’s Dhahran al-Janoub province in the southwestern Aseer region, injuring 14 people and damaging three homes, Saudi Arabia’s civil defense agency tweeted.
Saudi authorities did not say what group had fired the alleged projectiles, but Riyadh typically blames Yemen’s Shia Houthi militant group for such attacks.
Since March of last year, Saudi Arabia has led a Sunni-Arab air coalition against the Houthis and their allies in an effort to support Yemen’s embattled Saudi-backed government.
