JERUSALEM (AA) – Two Israelis were injured by rocket fire from Lebanon on Monday, according to the Israeli media on Monday.

The Israeli army said anti-tank missiles were launched at the Moshav Netu'a settlement in northern Israel, with its artillery attacking the source of fire in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese group Hezbollah confirmed that it had fired a volley of rockets at Al Zahajra post on the Lebanese-Israeli border, inflicting casualties.

Tension has flared along the border between Israel and Lebanon amid intermittent exchange of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah, in the deadliest clashes since the two sides fought a full-scale war in 2006.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 11,100 Palestinians have been killed, including more than 8,000 children and women, in Gaza since then, according to health authorities in the blockaded enclave. Israel has put its death toll at nearly 1,200.
