2 Palestinian medics killed in Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza
Patient dies at Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza due to lack of oxygen cylinders amid Israeli siege

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – Two Palestinian medics were killed in an Israeli drone strike in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, a local health official said.
Doctor Mohammad Ghanem and Mohammad Salman, a nurse, were killed in the attack that occurred near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia city, Director-General of Gaza’s Health Ministry Munir al-Borsh told Anadolu.
"The Israeli army continues to besiege hospitals in northern Gaza, kills and forcibly vacates people from shelters," he told Anadolu.
The Israeli army stepped up its massive assault in northern Gaza amid a suffocating siege that has left tens of thousands of people without food and water.
The onslaught, which began on Oct. 5, was the latest episode in Israel’s brutal onslaught that has killed nearly 42,800 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 100,400 others since last year following a Hamas attack.
"Hospitals in northern Gaza are without medicine, water or food, and the Israeli army is preventing international organizations from entering to provide relief,” Borsh warned.
Separately, the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza said a patient died on Wednesday due to lack of oxygen cylinders amid an ongoing Israeli blockade on the area.
“We are unable to go out to bury the dead patient outside the building due to the Israeli siege,” the hospital’s director, Marwan al-Sultan, told Anadolu.
The Israeli army has continued a devastating offensive on the Gaza Strip since a Hamas attack last year, despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.
The Israeli onslaught on Gaza has displaced almost the territory’s entire population amid an ongoing blockade that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.
Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
