3 FETO suspects nabbed in central Turkey
Suspects arrested over alleged infiltration into Turkish military
By Emrah Yasar
ESKISEHIR, Turkey (AA) - Three suspects with alleged links to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), the group behind the 2016 defeated coup in Turkey, were arrested on Tuesday in the country's central province of Eskisehir, security sources said.
This came after prosecutors in Eskisehir issued arrest warrants for the suspects as part of an investigation into the terror group's infiltration into the Turkish Armed Forces.
FETO and its US-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which left 251 people martyred and 2,734 injured.
Turkey accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.
