JERUSALEM (AA) – The Israeli army said on Friday that 15 more of its soldiers were injured in the Gaza Strip, three of them seriously.

The army said in a statement that 936 soldiers have been injured since Israel launched ground offensives in Gaza on Oct. 27, including the latest count since Thursday, but it did not elaborate on clashes with Palestinian resistance groups.

The army statement said 209 of the 936 wounded soldiers received serious injuries, 345 received moderate harm, and 382 received minor wounds.

The total number of officers and soldiers wounded since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7 has risen to 2,180.

The army claimed that since the beginning of the war, at least 344 soldiers received serious injuries, 606 had endured moderate injuries, and 1,230 had suffered minor wounds.

The total number of soldiers killed since Oct. 7 reached 502, including 168 officers and soldiers who were killed during the ground offensives in Gaza since Oct. 27.

Since Hamas’ cross-border attack, Israel has continued relentless attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 21,507 Palestinians and injuring 55,915, according to local health authorities.

Authorities claim that the Hamas attacks have killed approximately 1,200 Israelis.

The Israeli onslaught has left Gaza in ruins, with 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure damaged or destroyed and nearly 2 million residents displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water, and medicines.
