3 missing after fishing boat capsizes off South Korea's western coast

ISTANBUL (AA)— Three people are missing after a seven-person fishing boat capsized off South Korea's western coast on Thursday.
While one crew member was found in a cardiac arrest state and three others were rescued and taken to the hospital, the search for the three missing people continues, according to Yonhap News.
The 9.77-ton vessel capsized around 6.20 pm (0920GMT) in waters near the Cheollipo area of the western coastal county of Taean in South Chungcheong Province, about 140 kilometers (86.9 miles) southwest of Seoul, according to the Coast Guard.
The Taean Coast Guard dispatched seven patrol and rescue boats to the area to conduct search operations.
South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok has also directed authorities to use all available resources in the search for the missing crew members, according to his office.
