3 more Gazans killed as Israeli attacks continue unabated

Israeli army continues its campaign to blow up Palestinian homes in northern Gaza, according to witnesses

By Hosni Nadim

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - The Israeli army launched fresh attacks in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing at least three people, a medical source said.

One person was killed in a drone strike in the northern town of Beit Lahia, the source said.

Israeli forces also bombed the refugee camp of Jabalia in northern Gaza, leaving one person dead, the source added.

The body of another Palestinian was recovered after Israeli shelling of a group of civilians in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli artillery shelling was also reported in Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza, but no information was yet available about injuries.

Witnesses said that Israeli army forces continued their campaign to blow up Palestinian homes in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

Since Oct. 5, Israel has launched a large-scale ground operation in northern Gaza to allegedly prevent Palestinian resistance group Hamas from regrouping. Palestinians, however, accuse Israel of seeking to occupy the area and forcibly displace its residents.

More than 2,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 6,000 others in the Israeli onslaught, according to local health authorities.

Israel has continued a genocidal war, now in its second year, on the Gaza Strip since a Hamas attack last year, killing more than 43,900 people and injuring nearly 104,000 others.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
