Driver taken into custody over incident, which police say may have been rooted in custody dispute

ISTANBUL (AA) - At least five people, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured when a car drove into a crowd in Germany on Saturday evening, local media reported.
The incident took place around 3.30 pm (1330GMT) near the main train station in Passau, a southern German city in the state of Bavaria.
A 48-year-old man drove his car into the crowd, injuring his wife and daughter along with three others in what the police suspect is a custody dispute, according to Bild daily online.
“The group of five also included the man's 38-year-old wife and his five-year-old daughter. We currently have one person with moderate injuries and four with minor injuries. Initial witness interviews within the group seem to indicate a custody dispute,” said the police.
