70 rockets launched at northern Israel from Lebanon in a day: Media
Barrage of rockets fired towards Upper Galilee region since Friday morning, reports local media

At least 70 rockets have been fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel since Friday morning, Israeli media reported.
The daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported: “About 70 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee region since the morning hours.”
It added that at least 15 rockets were fired in the latest salvo.
Earlier on Friday, the Lebanese Hezbollah said that it fired a heavy barrage of missiles at an Israeli military base and an illegal settlement in the Upper Galilee region near the southern Lebanese border.
Fears have grown about a full-blown war between Israel and the Lebanese resistance group amid an exchange of cross-border attacks between the two sides.
The escalation comes against the backdrop of a deadly Israeli onslaught on Gaza, which has killed more than 38,800 victims since October, following an attack by Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Oct. 7.
