721 PKK terrorists 'neutralized' in 10 months, says Turkish interior minister

ISTANBUL (AA) — Turkish security forces "neutralized" 721 members of the PKK terrorist organization in over 19,000 operations through the first 10 months of this year, the country's interior minister said on Wednesday.

A total of 19,756 were conducted in Jan. 1-Nov. 1, resulting in the death of 84 terrorists, Ali Yerlikaya told parliament's Planning and Budget Commission in the capital Ankara.

In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and EU — has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
