Cause of fire in Quezon, nation’s most populous city, not yet known

ISTANBUL (AA) - Eight people, including three children, were killed and one person was injured in a fire Thursday in the Philippines.
The flames broke out in a three-story residential building after midnight in Quezon, the nation’s most populous city, according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The fire department had the first alarm at 2.02 a.m. local time (1802GMT) and the blaze was reported to be completely under control under 50 minutes from the first alarm.
Authorities dispatched 24 fire trucks and three ambulances in response.
The Bureau of Fire Protection has released the genders and ages of the victims, however, they have yet to release their full identities.
The monetary damage was amounted to P3.6 million ($62,000).
The cause of the fire has yet to be identified.
