ANKARA (AA) - Anadolu Agency is here with a rundown of the latest developments in Turkey, around the world and the coronavirus pandemic.

Turkey has administered more than 83.14 million coronavirus vaccines doses since it launched a mass vaccination campaign in January, according to official figures.

Turkey continued to receive messages of condolences from around the world for deadly floods in the Black Sea region that has killed 57 people.

More than 37,000 irregular migrants have been sent to repatriation centers of local migration offices across Turkey in the past seven months, according to Istanbul's migration authority.

A firefighting plane linked to Turkey's General Directorate of Forestry crashed in the southern province of Kahramanmaras, killing all eight on board.


- Worldwide developments related to COVID-19

More than 4.66 billion doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide, according to Our World in Data, a tracking website affiliated with Oxford University.

The Libyan government is set to lift a partial curfew aimed at curbing the spread of the virus.

Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani vowed to continue defending his government in the wake of mounting Taliban onslaughts and advances nationwide.

The death toll reached 23 from a massive landslide in India's northern state of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, according to a senior official.

The Taliban marched on Maidan city, less than 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Afghanistan’s heavily guarded capital of Kabul, sources confirmed.

Lebanon’s foreign reserves reached a “red line,” its central bank governor warned.

The Iraqi army launched a military operation against the Daesh/ISIS terror group in Baghdad amid attacks on power transmission towers across the country.

A magnitude-7.2 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving at least 304 people dead, the country’s civil defense agency.

At least 22 people were killed and 14 injured after a group of Muslims was attacked in Nigeria’s central Jos city, according to police.
