Annual inflation in France unchanged at 4.9% in September
Consumer prices up by 4.9% on annual basis, but down 0.5% month-on-month

ISTANBUL (AA) - France's annual inflation remained unchanged at 4.9% in September, same as the previous month, the country's statistical office Insee said on Friday.
While energy prices increased by 11.5% on a yearly basis, tobacco and food followed it with 9.9% and 9.6%, respectively. Manufactured products and services also posted slight increases, 2.9% and 2.8%, respectively.
On a monthly basis, the country's inflation rate was minus 0.5%, from 1% increase in August.
