Arab countries condemn terrorist attack in Egypt
At least 19 people killed, 32 others injured in car bomb blast in central Cairo

CAIRO (AA) – Arab countries on Monday condemned a terrorist attack over the weekend in Egypt’s capital that killed at least 19 people.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the country supported Egypt in its fight against terrorism
Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry shed light on the support for international efforts to create a deterrence against terrorist organizations and their supporters.
Iraqi Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf and Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah condemned the terrorist attack which claimed several lives.
The United Arab Emirates stressed that the attack did not coincide with humanitarian and religious values.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he believed Egypt would overcome all difficulties and be successful in fighting against terrorism.
The Palestinian resistance group Hamas, Islamic Jihad and president of the Arab Parliament also extended their condolences over the attack.
At least 19 people were killed and 32 others injured in the car bombing Sunday in central Cairo, according to Egypt’s Health Ministry.
The blast occurred shortly before midnight when an explosives-laden car driving against traffic collided with three other cars near the National Cancer Institute, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
