Asian stock markets close mixed on Thursday

ANKARA (AA) – Major Asian stock markets closed mixed on Thursday.

The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, was up 0.34%, or 9.71 points. to 2,824.71.

The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange, increased 0.72%, or 110.27 points, to 15,427.

The Singapore index climbed 0.23%, or 6.86 points, to 3,015, and the Indian Sensex benchmark gained 0.36%, or 212.88 points, to finish at 59,756.84.

On the flip side, China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange dropped 0.55%, or 16.60 points, to 2,982.90, while Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 fell 0.32%, or 86.6 points, to 27,345.​​​​​​​
