At least 6 Palestinians killed, others injured in Israeli strikes on Gaza

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) -At least six Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Friday in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and northern Gaza, according to medical sources.

Medical officials told Anadolu that two Palestinians lost their lives, and others were injured when an Israeli drone struck a house in Gaza City’s Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

In another attack, four Palestinians were killed instantly when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian gathering in Al-Karama, northwest of the Gaza Strip, medics and witnesses said.

Israel has continued its devastating offensive against Gaza since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023. The onslaught has killed more than 43,700 people and rendered the enclave almost uninhabitable.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its deadly war on Gaza.
