BAGHDAD (AA) – Three military convoys for the US-led anti-Daesh/ISIS coalition came under attacks in Iraq on Tuesday, according to security sources.

A road-side bomb targeted a coalition convoy carrying logistics on a highway in the southern Dhi Qar province, a local police officer told Anadolu Agency.

No injuries were reported, but a vehicle in the convoy sustained damage.

Another attack was reported on a coalition convoy carrying military equipment in the central Babel province.

Minor damage was reported in one of the convoy’s vehicles.

Another coalition convoy came under attack in the southern Al-Muthanna province, according to a statement by the Iraqi Defense Ministry.

There was no comment from the US-led coalition on the attacks, for which no group has yet claimed responsibility.

In the past weeks, the frequency of attacks targeting US forces and interests occurs almost daily.

Washington accuses Iran-backed Iraqi groups of being behind the attacks against the US-led coalition forces in Iraq, an accusation denied by Tehran.
