ISTANBUL (AA) - Two members of the US House of Representatives on Thursday introduced a bill in Congress aimed at designating Polisario Front a terrorist organization.
"The Polisario is a Marxist militia backed by Iran, Hezbollah and Russia providing Iran a strategic outpost in Africa and destabilizing the Kingdom of Morocco, a U.S. ally for 248 years," Republican Representative Joe Wilson said on X.
Submitting alongside Democrat Jimmy Panetta, Wilson said that the bill aims to designate the Polisario as a foreign terrorist organization.
