Bodies of remaining 5 workers trapped in February landslide in eastern Türkiye found

ISTANBUL (AA) - The bodies of the remaining five workers have been found at the site of the February landslide in Türkiye’s eastern Erzincan province, the governorate said on Monday.

"The lifeless bodies of our last five brothers who were trapped as a result of the landslide in our Ilic district have been found," it said on X.

Extending condolences and patience to the grieving families and loved ones, it added: "We wish Allah's mercy to our brothers who lost their lives."

Nine workers went missing after a landslide at the gold mine site in Erzincan's Ilic district on Feb. 13.
