Borsa Istanbul down at Monday's close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,356.96 points on Monday, down by 1.55% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,378.63 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 21.32 points from Friday's close of 1,378.28 points.

One ounce of gold was traded at $1,802.00 by market close, up from $1,800.50 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $75.01 per barrel as of 6.26 p.m. local time (1526GMT).
