Borsa Istanbul opens last trading day of year up
BIST 100 index gains around 29.5 points

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last transaction day of 2025 at 11,249.6 points on Wednesday, increasing by 0.26% or 29.50 points.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 rose 0.62% to close at 11,220.17 points, with a daily transaction volume of 115 billion liras ($2.67 billion).
As of 10.40 am local time (0740GMT), exchange rates stood at 42.9520 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 50.5290 to the euro, and 57.9300 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,333.22, while Brent crude oil was trading at $61.20 per barrel.
