Borsa Istanbul opens Tuesday at 3,900+ points

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened at 3,907.43 points on Tuesday, up 1.55%, or 59.81 points, from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 6.08% to end Monday at 3,847.62 points, with a daily trading volume of 94 billion Turkish liras ($5.06 billion).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.5930 as of 10.10 a.m. local time (0710GMT), the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.3285, and a British pound traded for 21.0790 Turkish liras.

Brent crude oil was selling for around $92.06 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,658.75.
