Borsa Istanbul up at closing of session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Borsa Istanbul's BIST-100 index was up 1.48 percent at the close of the daily session Friday, July 1, 2016, as gains in holdings and investments led shares higher.

The benchmark index increased 1,134.93 points to close at 77,952.11 on Friday, when the total trading volume was lower, at 2.5 billion Turkish liras ($860 million).
