Borsa Istanbul up at Tuesday's open

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened at 3,592.55 points on Tuesday, up 0.29%, or 10.52 points, from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 0.4% to end Monday on 3,582.03 points, with a daily trading volume of 57 billion Turkish liras ($3.05 billion).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.5830 as of 10.12 a.m. local time (07120GMT), the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.0230, and a British pound traded for 21.4910 Turkish liras.

Brent crude oil was selling for around $95.02 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,671.35.
