SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (AA) – As nations need to eventually align themselves, Bosnia's NATO membership is "inevitable," said the country’s parliament speaker on Monday.

Speaking during a visit to Anadolu's Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian-Montenegrin service in Sarajevo, Denis Zvizdic highlighted Bosnia and Herzegovina’s ongoing NATO membership process, noting its significance in a region where most countries are part of the military alliance.

Serbia and Bosnia are among the few non-members in the region, with Kosovo also expressing its desire to join, he said.

Zvizdic also expressed skepticism about neighboring Serbia’s policy of military neutrality, suggesting it may lose relevance over time.

Talha Ozturk, news editor of the Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian-Montenegrin service, briefed Zvizdic on Anadolu's global and regional operations, and also gave him the Anadolu book The Evidence, which documents Israel’s war crimes in Gaza through numerous photos.
