British singer Adele gets a big Hello at The Grammys
Pop icon David Bowie, who died last year, got 4 Grammys, including Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Song

ANKARA (AA) - British pop star Adele won big at The Grammys in the U.S. city of Los Angeles Sunday night, bagging five awards, including the coveted Record of the Year for Hello and Album of the Year for 25.
According to the official Grammy Awards website, the 27-year-old singer was also granted Song of the Year.
Pop icon David Bowie, who died last year, got four Grammys, including Best Alternative Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. Bowie died on Jan. 8, 2016, a few days before his album Blackstar was released.
Chance The Rapper won his first Grammy for Best New Artist.
Stressed Out took the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance; Willie Nelson's Summertime: Willie Nelson Sings Gershwin got the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album; The Chainsmokers Featuring Daya got Best Dance Recording for Don't Let Me Down; Skin by Flume was named Best Dance/Electronic Album; Culcha Vulcha by Snarky Puppy got the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album; Dystopia by Megadeth received the Best Metal Performance; Tell Me I'm Pretty by Cage The Elephant was named Best Rock Album; Cranes in The Sky by Solange got Best R&B Performance; Beyonce's Lemonade got Best Urban Contemporary Album; A Sailor's Guide To Earth by Sturgill Simpson was named Best Country Album; Take Me To The Alley by Gregory Porter got the Best Jazz Vocal Album; Ziggy Marley by Ziggy Marley got the Best Reggae Album; and Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack by composer John Williams got the award for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media.
Also, The Beatles: Eight Days A Week The Touring Years got the Best Music Film.
The awards ceremony was hosted by British actor James Corden.
Katy Perry, Metallica, John Legend, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Keith Urban, the Weekend, Daft Punk and Bruno Mars performed at the event. Adele also paid tribute to British singer George Michael who passed away last December. She sang Michael's “Fastlove”.
Singer Jennifer Lopez, who is of Latin American origin, took aim at President Donald Trump during the ceremony.
“This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence and no room for fear. We do language. That is how civilizations heal,” she said.
