HAMILTON, Canada (AA) - A Canadian man has been found guilty of terrorism after attempting to join a violent white supremacist group, CTV News reported Thursday.
Seth Bertrand, 22, from Windsor, Ontario was convicted of participating in a terror group after submitting an online application in 2021 to the National Socialist Order (NSO), a neo-Nazi organization.
Bertrand said in his application in February 2021 that he believed in the group's white supremacist views and highlighted his background in the Air Cadets and skills as a mechanic, according to the report.
It noted that Bertrand was being investigated by local police for vandalism at the time of his application.
