Central-right bloc GERB-SDS wins Bulgarian snap elections
Far-right Revival party in 3rd place, followed by Turkish minority’s Movement for Rights and Freedoms

ATHENS (AA) – The central-right bloc GERB-SDS, led by former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, won the snap elections in Bulgaria, the fifth in the last two years, local media reported on Monday.
While GERB-SDS gathered 26.47% of the votes, the centrist bloc comprising We Continue the Change (PP) and Democratic Bulgaria (DB) became second with 24.96%, said the state-run BTA news agency, adding that nearly 94% of the votes have been counted.
The far-right Revival party is in third place with 14.39% and the Turkish minority’s Movement for Rights and Freedoms became the fourth party with 12.96%.
The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and There is Such People (ITN) also achieved to enter the country’s 240-seat parliament, with 8.95% and 4.16%, respectively.
