ISTANBUL (AA) – China on Wednesday successfully conducted its second sea launch of Ceres-1 solid rocket off the coast of eastern Shandong province, state media reported.
The mission successfully put the four Tianqi satellites 25-28 into low Earth orbit at an altitude of 850 kilometers (528 miles).
The first sea launch for the model was carried out last September when Tianqi satellites 21-24 were successfully launched into designated orbit.
Meanwhile, China's two Shenzhou-18 astronauts on the Tiangong space station performed a spacewalk on Tuesday.
Ye Guangfu and Li Guangsu participated in extravehicular activity (EVA) for around 8 hours and 30 minutes.
The spacesuits, known as Feitian or flying to space, worn by the duo astronauts, only allow for a spacewalk.
Chinese astronauts, also known as Taikonauts, set a new record for spacewalk duration.
Previously, Chinese astronauts had conducted spacewalks for eight hours.
