China launches remote-sensing satellite into space
Yaogan-39 satellite launched from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Sichuan Province

ISTANBUL (AA) – China successfully launched a new remote-sensing satellite into space on Tuesday, according to Chinese state-run media.
The satellite, Yaogan-39, was blasted into space at around 4:03 a.m. (2023GMT) from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Sichuan Province, Xinhua reported.
It was the 492nd flight mission of the indigenous Long March carrier rocket series.
Earlier this month, China launched another remote-sensing satellite into space.
