China launches satellites into space
Group of satellites successfully placed into designated orbit, according to state media

ISTANBUL (AA) – China on Friday launched a CERES-1 carrier rocket, successfully placing a group of satellites into orbit, Chinese state media Xinhua News reported.
The rocket launched at 7:07 pm (1107GMT) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China successfully placed the Yunyao-1 43-48 satellites into their designated orbit.
China's Beijing-based private rocket company, Galactic Energy, successfully completed the launch mission just five days after the CERES-1 Y10 launch on March 17.
The firm uses the CERES-1 rocket and is working to develop reusable Pallas-1 orbital rockets.
