Chinese vice premier meets North Korean leader
Liu Guozhong, Kim Jong-un discuss bilateral relations

Chinese Vice-Premier Liu Guozhong on Sunday met with North Korean President Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in different areas.
Liu, who leads a Chinese delegation, will attend the commemorative events for North Korea’s 75th founding anniversary.
Conveying "cordial" greetings of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Liu wished North Korea a "prosperous future", saying Beijing is willing to push for the continuous consolidation and development of bilateral relations, local English newspaper China Daily reported.
Agriculture and health care are important undertakings for people's livelihood, Liu said, adding that China is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with North Korea in these areas to benefit their people.
Kim, for his part, said Pyongyang is willing to "further develop friendly and cooperative relations with China and enhance the well-being of their people."
During the visit, Liu also met with North Korean Premier Kim Tok-hun, and attended a series of activities related to the country's 75th founding anniversary.
