Confirmed global coronavirus cases tops 100,000

3,522 people have died so far, 58,456 people have recovered, says website Worldometer

ANKARA (AA) – After emerging in Wuhan, China last December, the number of people infected by the novel coronavirus reportedly topped 100,000 people worldwide on Saturday.

Worldometer, a website which compiles new case numbers of COVID-19, updated the number of affected to 103,738.

According to the website, at least 3,522 people have died so far, and 58,456 people have recovered.

There are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Turkey.
