The Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Boston hosted an iftar dinner for Muslim community leaders from Boston and the surrounding area at the Consulate General Residence.

MUSIAD USA Vice President and Boston Representative Kemal Bozkurt led the call to prayer, followed by a prayer by Dr. Talal Eid, the Imam who 43 years ago performed the funeral prayer for Honorary Consul General of Boston Orhan Gündüz.
At the iftar hosted by the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Boston, Halime Diğdem Buner, Consul General Buner thanked everyone who attended and stated that she would be happy to work with the Muslim leader in the region where she took office two months ago.
The program continued with introductions during the Iftar, discussion of current issues and then until the Isha prayer at the residence.
