THE ECONOMY

BERLIN - Germany’s Destatis to share factory orders for July. After posting a decline of 4.4% on a yearly basis, orders increased by 3% in June. As a significant indicator of recession, orders are expected to increase in July.

LUXEMBOURG - Eurostat to release retail sales figures for July. Over the last year, this data has been posting decreases, and it is expected to continue to drop in August. It is a signal of a slowdown in the eurozone.
