Gaza’s unprecedented humanitarian crisis set to worsen, warns Doctors Without Borders

ATHENS - Interview with Achilleas Tzemos, general director in Greece for Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), or Doctors Without Borders, on the current humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the effects of the Israeli blockade.

Based on reports from the MSF team on the ground in Gaza, Tzemos gives details of the catastrophic conditions in the besieged Palestinian enclave, which has been under heavy Israeli bombardment for weeks and deprived of essentials and humanitarian aid.

He warns that Israel’s blockade and continued attacks on medical facilities in Gaza is worsening the suffering of the people, which shows no sign of ending and is likely to further deteriorate in the coming days.
