By Ahmet Gurhan Kartal
LONDON – Interview with Anas Altikriti, CEO and founder of UK-based research and advisory group The Cordoba Foundation, about the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
Altikriti speaks in detail about the actions of Israel targeting the besieged Palestinian enclave and how they constitute what he terms “a series of war crimes,” including the targeting of civilians and civilians institutions, cutting off basic essentials, and the forced displacement of millions from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip.
He stresses the need for the International Criminal Court to take action and hold Israel accountable for its actions, but also explains why the world right now has little confidence in an international community that has silently watched on as a “genocide” was committed against Palestinians.
