PALESTINE

GAZA STRIP – Day 39 of Israeli war on Gaza Strip resulted, as of, in deaths of more than 11,100 Palestinians – including over 7,700 children and women – and more than 28,200 others have been injured, with clashes continuing in north of besieged strip.

GAZA CITY – Following developments of deteriorating health situation in Gaza Strip, especially in Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City as hundreds of bodies have piled up in its courtyard due to Israeli siege imposed on hospital, sparking growing risk of spread of diseases. Lack of services in hospital led to 20 deaths.

WEST BANK – Following Israeli army’s ongoing arrest campaigns and storming of Palestinian cities in West Bank, which raised death toll of Palestinians in region to 187, and more than 2,300 people have been detained since start of Gaza war on Oct. 7.


LEBANON

BEIRUT – Monitoring situation on Lebanese-Israeli border and in southern Lebanon in light of ongoing reciprocal attacks between Israel, and Hezbollah and several Palestinian factions, with Hezbollah deaths rising to 72.

LUXEMBOURG – Eurostat to release euro area GDP growth figure for third quarter of 2023. According to flash estimate, eurozone GDP fell 0.1% in third quarter of this year, worse than market forecast. Figure shifted from an upwardly revised 0.2% growth in the second quarter. On an annual basis, GDP rose 0.1% in euro area, following 0.5% growth in second quarter and 0.5% in first quarter.
