Tel Aviv - Protests in Israel to pressure government to resign and reach hostage swap deal with Palestinians.

Thousands of Israelis demonstrated on Saturday in several cities across Israel, including Tel Aviv and Haifa, demanding a hostage swap deal with the Palestinian resistance groups, the dismissal of Netanyahu's government, and early elections in the country.

EGYPT

Cairo - Indirect talks between Israel and Hamas aimed at reaching hostage swap deal and cease-fire in Gaza.

LEBANON

Beirut - Continuing cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israel that flared up last October, in deadliest clashes between two sides since their full-scale war in 2006.

YEMEN

Sanaa - Houthi attacks on commercial ships suspected of ties to Israel, and retaliatory US airstrikes. US Central Command said on Saturday that Iranian-backed Houthis launched one anti-ship ballistic missile into Red Sea and struck M/T Wind, a Panamanian-flagged, Greek owned and operated oil tanker, with no causalities reported.

INDONESIA

MYANMAR

Rakhine - Rebel ethnic Arakan Army has reportedly taken over control of Buthidaung area in Rakhine state, home to ethnic Rohingya population.
