Israel’s destructive assault on Gaza


Relentless Israeli bombardment caused rising Palestinian casualties in the face of worsening humanitarian conditions.

At least 34 Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza enclave on Saturday.

The overall death toll in the Palestinian enclave since October of last year soared to nearly 43,800, with over 103,600 others injured, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Saturday.



Israel’s broadening blockade, ground invasion in northern Gaza Strip


Israel's over the month-long siege, incursion, and bombardment of the northern Gaza Strip exacerbated shortages of food, water, fuel, and medicine.

Medical sources told Anadolu on Saturday that an airstrike in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, left three people dead and several wounded.



Israeli onslaught in Lebanon

Two emergency medical workers were killed and four others injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Saturday, indicating that the Israeli army targeted the on-duty paramedics who were attempting to provide first aid to injured people and transport them to a hospital.

Lebanon cease-fire efforts


Developments on ongoing efforts to draft a cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon.

Sources told the local Lebanese broadcaster Al-Jadeed on Saturday that US special envoy for Lebanon Amos Hochstein will visit Beirut on Tuesday. Additionally, Lebanon will submit its comments and amendments to the draft cease-fire proposal to the US special envoy on Monday.

The official Israeli broadcasting authority reported on Saturday that Hochstein will arrive in Tel Aviv on Wednesday after completing his visit to Lebanon, as part of the US efforts to secure a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah.




Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s office scandals

Developments on several unfolding scandals and leaked documents linked to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office.

The scandals included attempts to alter documents regarding early warnings before the Oct. 7 Hamas attack, efforts to blackmail a senior officer for classified information, and a video showing former Defense Minister Gallant being blocked from entering Netanyahu's office after the Gaza war commenced.



West Bank raids

Israel’s almost daily military raids on Palestinian cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, as well as illegal Israeli settlers' violence against Palestinians and their properties.

The Israeli army raided several areas in the occupied West Bank on Saturday evening, coinciding with illegal Israeli settlers’ attacks on Palestinians, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Israel has killed over 783 people since October last year, including 160 children, and injured nearly 6,300 others, with over 11,700 taken into custody.
