Cairo to host Arab-Islamic ministerial committee meeting on Gaza with EU foreign policy chief
The Egyptian capital Cairo will host a meeting on Sunday of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza, with the participation of EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
The meeting will bring together the foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Qatar, Türkiye, and Indonesia, in addition to the secretary-general of the Arab League, the secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the foreign minister of Bahrain, and the UAE minister of state, for talks with the EU’s top diplomat.
Israel resumes genocidal war on Gaza
Latest developments as Israel resumed genocidal war on the Gaza Strip for the sixth day, violating the ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian group Hamas.
At least 21 Palestinians, including six children, were killed on Saturday in Israeli airstrikes on the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army killed 130 more Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, taking the overall death toll since October 2023 to 49,747, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
