The wave of attacks has continued and resulted in the deaths of at least 78 people with 320 others injured, according to figures earlier announced by Iran's UN envoy.

Iranian missiles also struck multiple locations in central and northern Israel, killing eight people and injuring 208 others, Israeli media reported early Sunday.

Around 50 rockets were fired at central Israel in the latest wave of Iranian attacks, according to Israeli Channel 12.

The situation remains highly volatile, as governments worldwide and human rights organizations continue to issue strong condemnations and urge all parties to exercise restraint.

In the wake of the reciprocal strikes, neighboring countries are expected to maintain flight suspensions and bolster security protocols, with further regional responses likely if hostilities escalate.


⁠Israel continues targeting of Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid

Developments as the Israeli army continues to target Palestinians near humanitarian aid distribution points under the supervision of the Israeli-American aid group known as the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

According to the Gaza-based Health Ministry on Saturday, over 274 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,532 injured near aid distribution sites since May 27.

The escalation further complicates the deepening famine in Gaza, raising alarm among humanitarian agencies.


French president visits Greenland

President Emmanuel Macron visits Greenland to show support for the autonomous Danish territory. He will meet Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. China hosts cross-Straits forum with participation from Taiwan in eastern Fujian province. The forum brings delegates from mainland China and Taiwan to discuss cross-strait exchanges, economic cooperation, and people-to-people ties.
