Drone attack targets intl’s airport in Erbil

ERBIL, Iraq (AA) - A drone attack was carried out against the International Erbil Airport in Iraq where US troops are stationed, local sources said Sunday.

The airport was attacked by an explosives-laden drone, the Kurdish Regional Government’s counterterrorism directorate said in a statement.

All flights were suspended at the airport, where security measures were taken after the attack.

There have been no reports of casualties.
