Drone intercepted above Dubai; debris sparks fire at iconic Burj Al Arab hotel
Minor blaze contained at landmark luxury hotel; no injuries reported

ISTANBUL (AA) - Dubai authorities said Sunday that a drone was intercepted above the city, with falling debris igniting a limited fire on the outer facade of the iconic Burj Al Arab luxury hotel.
In a statement published on US social media company X, the Dubai Media Office said Civil Defence teams responded immediately and brought the situation under control.
No injuries were reported.
