Dutch lawyer files criminal complaint against Dutch citizens in Israeli army
Haroon Raza says March 30 Movement also starts legal proceedings against Israeli Jewish settlers who hold Dutch citizenship

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (AA) - The representative of the March 30 Movement in the Netherlands said he filed a criminal complaint against five Dutch citizens serving in the Israeli army, accusing them of complicity in crimes in Gaza.
"We are filing complaints in local courts here against Dutch, Belgian, French and Austrian citizens who have fought in the ranks of the Israeli army," lawyer Haroon Raza told Anadolu.
"Their European citizenship gives us jurisdiction, and we are following the process by initiating criminal proceedings," Raza said.
Raza noted that they have also started legal proceedings against Israeli Jewish settlers who hold Dutch citizenship.
"We are applying to the Dutch prosecution for these individuals to be prosecuted for theft and other crimes," Raza noted.
"Some of these individuals use fake names, but their pictures and images are available, and we identify who these individuals really are," he said.
"We report individuals we couldn't identify to the prosecution for further investigation. We also send this information to the International Criminal Court Prosecutor," Raza noted.
"Our team is conducting research to identify individuals with dual citizenship who serve in the Israeli army. We are trying to compile a list of a thousand people as soon as possible, and hopefully, we will ensure that all these individuals are punished," he added.
The March 30 Movement was established by activists in Europe to "prevent genocide in Gaza."
The movement takes its name from the "Land Day," marked by protests after Israel seized thousands of acres of Palestinian land on March 30, 1976.
