Economic confidence in Türkiye down in April
All sub-indexes see declines in April

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's economic confidence index was at 96.6 in April, down from 100.8 in March, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) released on Tuesday.
In April, the services confidence index decreased by 4.3%, construction by 4.2%, and the retail trade confidence index by 2.5% on a monthly basis.
Both consumer and real sector indexes dropped 2.3% in the month.
The economic confidence index, a key indicator of the overall economic situation, is currently hovering between 0 and 200.
When it exceeds 100, it indicates an optimistic outlook, and when it falls below 100, it indicates pessimism.
