Economists expect no change in Türkiye's policy rate

ISTANBUL (AA) - Economists surveyed by Anadolu expect the Turkish Central Bank to keep its policy rate constant when it meets next week.

The bank, which will announce the interest rate decision on April 25, increased the rate by 500 basis points to 50% last month.

While the forecast by 16 economists signaled no change in interest rates, their year-end rate expectation was 45%.
